The Second International Competition for Innovative Projects "Eurasian Digital Platforms" starts on May 23 with a semifinal in the Russian Federation
The international competition of innovative projects “Eurasian digital platforms” is held under the auspices of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) for the second year in a row.
The main objectives of the competition in 2018 were to search for initiatives that would extend the functionality of the EAEU Integrated Information System, as well as the implementation of priority areas established by the EAEU digital agenda.
In 2019, with the help of the competition, it is planned to identify companies and projects in the countries of the Union that can make a significant contribution to the implementation of the EEU digital agenda.
Industry, agriculture and trade are the three sectors for which applications for participation in the international competition for innovative projects “Eurasian digital platforms” in the member states are being accepted this year.
The Russian semi-final of the competition will be held on May 23 in Innopolis (Republic of Tatarstan) within the framework of the conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia - 2019” (CIPR).
The semi-finalists will present their projects to the jury of the competition on May 23 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the CIPR conference (Innopolis, Universitetskaya st., 1, university building, 3rd floor, Amphitheater hall). The award ceremony will take place on the same day at 14:00.
This year, 45 innovative projects have passed to the qualifying round from the Russian Federation, of which ten will go to the semifinals, and three projects will become the winners of the semifinals and will take part in the final of the competition.
The main events (semi-finals and finals) of the competition will be held in all five countries of the Union: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation. Three winners in each semi-final (total - 15 innovation projects) will go to the final of the competition, which will be held in September this year at the Eurasian Week - 2019 forum (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic). The competent jury of the competition, chaired by a member of the Board (Minister) for domestic markets, information, information and communication technologies of the ECE Karine Minasyan will select three winners, and two other projects will be awarded a victory in the category " EAEU sympathies".
